The main objectives of the new system are:
- verification of the player’s identity and age;

The amendments provide for a gradual shift to a digital casino payment system. Starting January 2029, all financial operations will be conducted only through instruments tied to a player’s personal card. An adaptation period is established: over several years, enterprises will be able to modernise equipment and adjust their infrastructure to the new requirements.
At the same time, additional changes to improve supervisory procedures and simplify certain aspects of compliance are being prepared. They will take effect starting on May 1st, 2027.
