- requirements for tracking and reporting suspicious transactions;
- regulatory expectations regarding interactions with 3rd parties, and other nuances.
Tightened Oversight: Fines for AML Violations

In July, the Commission imposed a fine of £3,937,500 on Celton Manx, which manages the SBOTOP betting brand, for multiple violations related to money laundering. Several months before that, the commercial enterprise had surrendered the Isle of Man’s certification.
It soon became known that TGP Europe, which ran the same sportsbook in the United Kingdom under a White-Label agreement, also lost its British permit. It occurred after the UKGC regulator issued a warning about a £3.3 million fine for similar AML disregards.
