- 54.5% of respondents in the Almaty region reacted positively to the government’s expansion project.

Key excerpts from the Ministry’s analytics and forecasts:
- Around 148,000 tourists will be able to visit the casino in Mangistau by 2029. The location will create over 700 permanent jobs and generate approximately KZT 1.2 billion in budget revenue.
- The facility in the Zhetysu area will welcome up to 36,000 guests annually by 2029. This surge promises to provide up to 700 work positions and bring in around KZT 2.4 billion in taxes yearly.
- The new gambling zone in the Almaty region will attract over 22,800 travellers by 2030. Combined, the 2 entertainment hubs will generate KZT 6.5 billion in revenues and create over 2,000 permanent jobs by 2028.
The country’s tourism sector recently brought in KZT 1.254 trillion (approximately $2.7 billion). The new construction plan, developed based on these figures, aims to expand the infrastructure supporting incoming traffic.
