New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement published its July 2026 financial report. The document unveiled stable GGR growth in the iGaming and land-based verticals.
The combined gross gain jumped 11.9% YoY in the state, totalling $678.1 million. The authority attributes the surge to a record high in online casino revenue, though by a slight margin.
Key Figures from the Monthly Report
iGaming Win surpassed other segments in yearly percentage-based growth, reaching $276.9 million across 28 active skins. This 12% improvement broke the last record, hit in May 2026, when GGR amounted to $276.3 million. Yet the gap between 2 most successful months was only nearly 0.22%.
The breakdown by sectors demonstrates that digital P2P games were the only niche with a YoY decline. Its proceeds dropped 6.2% to $2.55 million. Meanwhile, other web content accounted for almost $274.4 million, up 12.2% from 2025.
The MoM comparison shows that June’s online revenue was almost $6 million lower. Nevertheless, its per-day results were more productive than July’s.
Land-based casinos' YoY numbers during the reporting period were as follows:
- Atlantic City’s 9 venues climbed 7.1% to $304.2 million in total, making the segment the largest in the local industry’s structure.
- Of that sum, slot machines brought in $226.15 million, up 6.2%.
- Table games jumped 9.5% to $78.06 million.
Sports betting also demonstrated a strong gain:
- All bookmakers earned $97 million, demonstrating a 29.7% rise from the previous year.
- Online platforms generated the absolute majority of the total, reaching $94.67 million, up 25.5%.
- Lounges brought in a small portion of $2.28 million, but it was a whopping 436% YoY surge.
Gross tax revenue from combined niche investment ended at $92.2 million. iGaming was the main contributor, at $54.72 million.
July Leaders: Operator Performance
FanDuel’s casino offers led the online gambling vertical at $61.67 million, up 18.5% compared to the previous year. DraftKings ranked 2nd at $48.07 million, though with a 1.2% decline. BetMGM finished 3rd, generating $34.58 million, up 10.1%. Ending up 11th, Bet365 posted the biggest jump, up 78% to $4.27 million in revenue.
Among physical casinos, the following were the leaders:
- Borgata — $81.59 million (+2.1%).
- Hard Rock — $57.34 million (+4%).
- Ocean — $52.18 million (+21%).
Top online sportsbooks:
- FanDuel — $32.84 million (+22%).
- DraftKings — $25.66 million (+21.8%).
- BetFanatics — $10.62 million (+33%).
Meadowlands Racetrack earned $1 million (+213.5%), which made it a frontrunner among betting lounges. Borgata and Monmouth Park finished 2nd and 3rd with $713,755 and $205,066, respectively.
