DGOJ, Spain’s gaming regulatory body, has posted Q2 financial results for the local online gambling segment. The document reveals stable YoY industry growth.

The digital market generated € 346.2 million in revenue for the 3 months. In 2023, this figure totalled € 312.6 million, which marks a 10.8% yearly uplift. Compared to results obtained in Q1 2024 (€ 350.7 million), the recent numbers are only 1.2% lower.
In the 2nd quarter, players deposited € 1.09 billion, up 15.9% YoY and 5.6% QoQ, and withdrew € 740.0 million. By the end of the reporting period, 1.4 million gaming accounts were active. Spaniards registered 446,586 new ones in Q2, up 1.8% quarterly and 46.6% yearly.

iGaming Operators' Results
The country now boasts 78 licensed digital brands, from which:
- 50 platforms offer casino games;
- 42 studios provide sports betting;

- 4 administrators conduct bingo draws;
- 2 entrepreneurs arrange contests.
Regarding marketing expenses, Spanish operators contributed € 120.2 million during the reporting period, up 22.5% YoY and 6.6% QoQ.
