World Gaming Week's (WGW) organisers shared the impressive results of the 2026 edition. The expo and accompanying summits attracted a record 62,988 guests from 162 countries, including Brazil, Canada, Nigeria, the Netherlands, etc.
Show Performance: Major Numbers
The report by Clarion Gaming’s analysts lists the states with the largest participation:
- Spain — 10,209 people.
- The UK — 5,999.
- Malta — 3,187.
- Cyprus — 2,628.
- Ukraine — 2,512.
- Poland — 2,247.
- The US — 1,568.
Italian, German, and Bulgarian delegates also assembled large stacks, each surpassing 1,000. Compared to 2025, the total number of visitors increased by 5% (from 59,939).
The reports were independently verified and confirmed that 51,996 guests were engaged in ICE (+4% YoY), and 10,992 joined iGB Affiliate (+11%), which was held concurrently in January. The organisers noted that the largest growth in attendance was in Africa (+65%) and Latin America (+40%).
Technology Discussions and Industry Forums
WGW served as a platform for the presentation of over 25,000 new products and services. Against the backdrop of so many niche releases, panels and debates on key issues in automation, operational efficiency, and player protection were particularly relevant.
This year’s World Gaming Forum was attended by executives from flagship entertainment brands, leading software providers, politicians, industry associations, and regulators. Also, the Sustainable Gambling Zone became one of the most sought-after show features during the reporting period.

World Gaming’s Managing Director noted that visitation alone tells only part of the story, but ICE and iGB Affiliate continue to grow at an impressive rate, drawing in global audiences. The surge in attendance confirms the scale of the major event and the effectiveness of promotional programs in attracting guests.
Several significant achievements marked the January gatherings: for the 1st time, the total number of delegates exceeded 60,000. These figures have been independently verified and fully confirmed, allowing commercial partners to base their strategies on reliable data.
Many of the discussions initiated during WGW in Barcelona will be continued and further explored at local meetings. As of now, Mr Hunter believes it is the perfect time to prepare for the iGB L! VE expo at the beginning of July.
