The director council of the famous firm Playtech has taken into account the intentions that were previously voiced by their potential partner, JKO Play. The executives of the latter, however, made a decision to not cooperate with the gaming company, confirming it in the official statement.
What Happened?
According to Playtech’s board of officials, the possible association with JKO Play is not considered to be in the company's best interests.
Instead, it was strongly advised that the stakeholders of the prominent gambling business go for another option. The alternative is partnering up with another large enterprise, Aristocrat Leisure, and being acquired by this gambling giant.
Aristocrat’s Offer
Even though it is expected that Aristocrat will soon acquire Playtech and merge the businesses, some investors are yet to voice their perspective on the situation. This includes particular stockholders that obtained assets at the company in light of the recent events.
Due to the lack of involvement coming from the officials that have a share of holdings in the company, it is clear that the situation still needs to improve in this regard. So far, the official meetings require to focus on the opinions of stakeholders on the offer that came from Aristocrat.
