IGT Will Deliver Its Lotto Software and Equipment to OLG

The global gambling company IGT has been selected by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation as the main sweepstakes software and self-serve terminal provider.

Arrangement Details

The deal will last until June 2027 in the Canadian province. It also contains 10 other 1-year contract renewal possibilities. The supplier’s terminals will start to be put at commercial stores in the second half of 2023, pending additional permissions from regulatory bodies.

During the collaboration, IGT’s team will give the Canadian partner:

• 1,400 self-serve lotto machines GameTouch 28;
• the app for the terminals OpenRetail;
• the content development and administration system ShowMaker;
• commercial consulting services for retailers.

Leaders' Vision

OLG’s representative Duncan Hannay noted that as the company begins with the next phase of lotto engagement in the province, it will collaborate with essential associates. This will be done to ensure responsible, safe, and easy access to player-favourite entertainment titles.

The organisation would be able to boost income for government objectives for the advantage of Ontario residents by implementing new software technologies throughout the province.

According to Jay Gendron, a spokesperson for the developer, IGT is thrilled to join OLG to significantly strengthen user engagement in the province with the introduction of the new instalments.
