Shape Games, a front-end innovation provider, has been acquired by Kambi Group for a starting price of € 38.5 million. If performance-related bonuses are satisfied, the cost might increase to € 78.1 million.
The purchase of the Danish tech firm reflects Kambi's efforts to boost its mobile capacities, which generates the lion's share of the firm’s betting income. The European company was acquired by Kambi after a previous collaboration between them.
After the announcement of the agreement, Kambi’s Kristian Nylen stated that the firm has always been open about the aim to purchase solutions and expertise that would improve its wagering offering. Shape Games will certainly do that, according to the expert.
Mr Nylen has had recent experience collaborating directly with the partner and its knowledgeable staff.
