The prominent Japanese corporation Konami has recently gained impressive profits of 54.81 billion JPY in a year. The sum equals 425.6 million USD, and this means that the group’s revenue grew by almost 70% since last year.
Earlier, the company announced that it is about to give dividends, which are set to the number of 87 JPY per share at the end of the year. As it was merged with the second quarter’s 36.5 JPY, the yearly transaction was taken to 123.5 JPY or about 16.5 billion JPY per year in general.
The next payout is expected to take place starting from June 7th of 2022, as the company’s representatives have announced recently.
Aside from the local market in Japan, the group also has its subsidiaries in such countries as Australia and the United States. It includes a special department which specialises in professional casino equipment and has experienced revenue growth of 54%, standing at 25.63 billion JPY.
The sectional profit for the last year is known to be 3.50 billion JPY, while the department previously had a regular loss of 2.08 billion JPY.
The company’s official statements signified that its divisions in the United States and Australia have recovered from the post-pandemic effects rather quickly and have once again opened their doors to the customers. Nowadays, they are almost at the levels they were before the pandemic. As the group stated, more markets are renewing their work, but have a few restrictions.
The company has commented on the supply of goods to the Las Vegas-based property — a large resort where people can also use gambling spaces. The group stated that there has been a lot of traction around the debut of a cashless way to play at that luxurious location.
The final statement was on their system of managing casinos, which are currently being installed in multiple places, and it keeps progressing.
